Fried Green Tomatoes

Here’s my recipe for a summer treat

1 firm green tomato, sliced
Spices you would use to fry fish (salt, seasoned salt, pepper, garlic powder)
Corn meal
Cooking oil

Heat enough oil to cover slices of tomato.
Slice tomato…thin or thick, your preference.
Pat dry with paper towel and lightly season with your choice of spices.
Coat slices with corn meal. I usually put some of the same spices in corn meal mixture.
Deep fry for a few minutes until brown.
Drain on paper towel.
